Minjae Kim scored the game-winning goal as Munich defeated Kiel 6-1 to win their third straight league game.



National soccer team defender Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich) played full-time for his club upon his return from the second leg of the third qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup North America, helping them to a big win.

Kim started and played the entirety of Bayern Munich's 2024-2025 German Professional Soccer Bundesliga third round away match against Holstein Kiel at the Holsteinstadion in Kiel, Germany, on Friday (Sept. 15).

Kim has started all three Bundesliga matches and one DFB Pokal match since the start of the season.

After a shaky start in the league opener against Wolfsburg last month, where he made a mistake that led to a goal, he was substituted in the 36th minute due to injury concerns, but he has since reestablished himself as a full-time player in all official matches.

After returning from the World Cup third qualifier against Palestine in Seoul on June 5 and the second match against Oman in Muscat, Oman, on June 10 during this month's A-match, he partnered with Dayo Upamecano in central defense.

Behind a hat-trick from star striker Harry Kane, 파워볼실시간 Munich thrashed Kiel 6-1 to open the league with three straight wins and move to the top of the table (9 points).

Kiel, on the other hand, dropped to 18th place (0 points) in the bottom half of the table after three straight losses to open the season.

Munich took the lead 10 seconds into the match on a goal from Jermall Musiala and never looked back.

Kane's goal came in the seventh minute after Serge Gnabry broke down the defense inside the penalty area, and Kiel midfielder Nikolai Lemar added an own goal in the 13th minute to give Munich a three-goal lead.

Kane added another goal in the 43rd minute, set up by Kim Min-jae.

After receiving a long ball from Kim Min-jae behind the halfway line, Kingsley Coman advanced down the left flank and sent in a low cross that Kane calmly slotted home with his right foot from the penalty spot.

Michael Oliseh added a second in the 20th minute, and Munich pulled a goal back through Kiel's Armin Gigovic in the 37th minute, but Kane completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot in stoppage time.

Kane is now tied for the league lead in goals scored in leagues two through four this season.

According to soccer stats site FutbolScore.com, Kim has a 7.2 rating.

While Kane scored a perfect 10, his second-string supporters Coman (8.7), Gnabry (8.2), and Musial (8.0) all scored 8 or higher.

The footmob gave Kim Min-jae a 7.8. Again, Kane scored the highest with 9.8 points.

Union Berlin's Jung Woo-young started the away match against Leipzig from the bench before coming on for Benedikt Hollerbach in the 24th minute of the second half and playing 20 minutes.

Jung, who has been on loan at Union Berlin from Stuttgart since the start of the season, came on as a 44th-minute substitute in the second leg against St. Pauli at the end of last month and increased his playing time today.

The 0-0 draw with Leipzig leaves Union Berlin in eighth place (5 points) with one win and two draws since the start of the season.
